Club Notes 22/05/17

Junior League

Cross V Lisummon

Conditions were cold and blustery in Cross on Sunday when Our Seconds faced Lisummon. The first twenty minutes saw an even contest with points exchanged but a great goal and a point from John Murtagh in the final minutes of the first half saw us leading by four at the break .

Lisummon got off to a bright start at the opening of the second half with a goal and a point registered on the scoreboard by the second minute, but we settled well and got to grips with the game which resulted in Lisummon not scoring again until the 21st minute and us scoring a total of 13 points in the second half resulting in another good win. Cross 1-19 Lisummon 1-08.
