Club Notes 29/05/17

Senior ACL

Cross V Clan Éireann

It was the visitors who opened the scoring with a point in the first minute. It took a while for us to settle but once we registered our first score, a fine point by Rían O’Neill in the 9th minute we got to grips with the game.Goals from Kyle Carragher, Tony Kernan and Rían O’Neill helped us to build a comprehensive lead but Clan Éireann fought back and just before the half time whistle they scored their second goal of the match.
The Second half saw Clan Éireann score first but we settled quickly, a good solid defence and an overall tremendous team performance saw us score 1-11 in the second half and another good win in the league was recorded.
Final Score: Cross 4-24 v Clan Éireann 2-10.
