Divisional Cup Final .

On Friday evening our seniors travelled to Silverbridge to play neighbours Cullyhanna in the final of the Divisional Cup .
It was Cullyhanna who started off the brightest with 2 goals and 2 points on the scoreboard by the eight minute but some fine points by Stephen Kernan , Kyle Carragher , Mickey McNamee , Rían O’Neill and Martin Aherne kept us in contention and by the half time whistle we only trailed by a point .
Cullyhanna opened the scoring in the second half with a point but we responded quickly with points from Martin Aherne , Rían O’Neill and Kyle Carragher .
Cullyhanna scored two more points before we accumulated 1-3 on the scoreboard which resulted in us winning the match on a scoreline :

Aaron Kernan will represent his old school , St Josephs High School in the upcoming torch relay event .
