Crossmaglen Rangers Annual Golf Classic

On Tuesday night, we launched our annual Golf classic which will take place once again in the prestigious Concra Wood Golf Club, Castleblayney on Friday 6th July.
We are delighted that for the second year running our sponsors will be Killycard Developments LTD & Hanratty Oils.

It is vital for the status of the club that our membership Is maintained and increased.

James Hughes U10 Tournament

There has been a tremendous expression of interest by clubs who wish to participate in the upcoming James Hughes U10 tournament in memory of James. Thanks to all clubs who emailed us.

A presentation night will take place on Saturday 14th April at 7.00pm in the Rangers Hall for our U14/16 teams.
All families and friends welcome.

 

Cycle Against Suicide 

This years cycle against suicide will take place from Saturday 28th April to Monday 7th May.
We are both delighted and honoured that the cyclists will stop briefly at the Rangers Hall on Sunday 29th April at 4.00pm (approx) on route to Newry.
At least six cyclists from the area, some club members, are participating in the cycle.
Cycle against suicide is now in its fifth year. This fantastic event helps to bring awareness of all the support that is available for anyone who may be battling depression, self harm, at risk of suicide or has been bereaved by suicide.
It is a great honour for the club that the cyclists are stopping with us. So keep the 29th April free so we can give the cyclists a good Crossmaglen Rangers welcome.

Executive Meeting on Tuesday 10th April at 9.00pm.

 

Quiz Night

Quiz night in Hanratty’s bar on Friday 6th April @8.30pm.
£5 per person and there will be a raffle on the night.
All proceeds will go to the promotion of the Irish Language locally.

Congratulations

Congratulations and best wishes to Stephen & Clare Kernan on the birth of their wee girl, Rachel.

 

Congratulations to the St Patrick’s boys and girls football teams who have both qualified for the finals of the Malachy McGeeney 7 a side competition which will take place in April.

 

Well done to Caoimhe Dooley and Lucy Duffy who were members of the Armagh U15 squad who beat Antrim in their first league fixture which was played in Ardoyne GAA on Thursday night.

Easter Camp

Healthy kidz are holding an Easter Camp in St Patrick’s P.S for boys and girls, aged 4-11 years old.
The Camp runs from Wednesday 4th April to Friday 6th April, 10.00am-1.00pm
Each child costs £25 – 3rd child goes free.

Crossmaglen Rangers LGFA
Happy Easter to all out players and members!

G4G 2018 Programme:

The club are delighted to have been selected for the LGFA’s annual gaelic4girls programme. This programme is aimed at all girls aged 8- 12 years. The programme runs for 8 weeks, and aims to introduce young girls to gaelic football, but teaching newbies the basics, while also encouraging more experienced players to lead and take part in the Ladies game. The cost of the programme is £10 per child, which covers the cost of the gaelic4girls jersey, which all girls receive at the end of the programme. The programme will run on Monday nights for 6-7pm, starting on Monday 16th April. We hope to train outdoors, on the council field, weather permitting. Ladies Football Registration Morning Sunday April 22nd 10am to 12pm (Rangers Hall back room):

Its that time of the year again, and we need all old players to renew their membership. The cost of registration is £30 for adult members and £20 for the underage player. The deadline for registrations is April 30th, all players must be fully paid by this date in order to train or play any match with the club.

Team information:

Senior & Minor squads continue to train on Tuesday evening, Peter and Maria will be in touch by message about venue. All old and new faces are welcome, just get in touch with Maria or Peter.

U16 & U14 Players:

All players are asked to be available for the following fixtures, Monday 2nd April away to Keady. Wednesday 4th April, panel are at home to Mullaghbawn. Monday 9th April, this squad are away to St. Pauls. Paul will be in touch about times and meeting up.
