Defibrillator

Thanks once again to all who donated to our new AED. We are delighted to have this state of the art, life saving device on our grounds for use in the club and our community. The new AED will be fully operational within a couple of days. The defibrillator is now registered with

‘The Circuit’ – the national defibrillator network which provides a national overview of where defibrillators can be found. In the event of an emergency, first you ring 999 and they will inform you of the nearest defibrillator and if the nearest one is Cross Rangers, the operator will give you the code to access it. All players, coaches and members will also receive the code. We thank Thomas McKenna, Cross Community First Responders, who is assisting me in setting the device up.
