Crossmaglen Rangers Club Notes 05/10/20

Championship 20

On Friday evening an announcement was made by the County Board to cease all games, training etc in the county. While this was disappointing, especially for our teams who had championship games scheduled to be played at the weekend, it was the right decision due to the current situation and the rise in the number of positive Covid cases in the area. We hope it won’t be long until we are up and running again. We ask all our members and friends to adhere to all the guidelines set out by the relevant authorities. Stay safe!

World mental health week

World mental health week began on Sunday and finishes on world mental health day which is this Saturday, 10th October.
Now more than ever our mental health and the mental health of those close to us is so important especially in these uncertain times. Starting on Monday, if you would like to send a photo of something which makes you happy, brings back great memories, maybe it captured a special moment or if you would like to tell us how you keep mentally well,  please forward and I will share these positive images on our social media platforms. Photos with club colours displayed are very welcome! On Saturday evening, we would like everyone to place a candle in their window to mark World Mental Health Day and also to symbolise hope.

McKeever Teamwear

Mckeever sports are scheduled to visit the club next Friday at 7pm and take orders for club gear which will be ready for collection in time for Christmas. Again, due to restrictions etc we are unsure if this will go ahead. I will post details early in the week and if a visit is not possible the gear will be available to purchase online. Below is a sample of the products available to buy;
