Crossmaglen Rangers Club Notes 07/01/19
FonaCab Ulster Minor Football Final
Cross V Bellaghy
On New Years Day our Minor team traveled to West Belfast to play Bellaghy in the Ulster Minor Final.
With twenty gone on the clock we only trailed by one but as the half entered the final minutes, Bellaghy went on a scoring spree, scoring 1-5 to our single point and at the break the Derry side had a significant lead,
Cross 0-3 Bellaghy 1-8
Our boys had a mammoth task ahead of them , Cian scored a point as play recommenced but the second half was to be a very one sided affair with the Bellaghy boys firmly in control, amassing 5-3 in the second period. Deservedly, it was to be Bellaghy’s day and they won on a score line of;
Cross 0-8 Bellaghy 6-11.
Hard luck to the entire squad and to Stephen and Thomas. We are very proud of you all. Congratulations to Bellaghy.
Well Done
Well done to our U10 squad who played at half time during the Ulster final.
