Paul McGirr U16 Club Champions Tournament .
On Sunday all roads led to Dromore , Co Tyrone for our quarter final clash in the Paul McGirr Ulster Club Champions Tournament .
Our opponents were Antrim Champs , St Brigids from the Malone road area in Belfast .
Conditions were slippy on what was a bright crisp November day .
St Brigids were first off the mark scoring two points in the opening minutes . Points from Dara O’Callaghan and Ryan Duffy levelled matters seconds before the Belfast boys put the ball into the back of our net to put them into the lead once more but we responded getting the next three scores , Oisín Doyle (2) and Dara O’Callaghan to leave the game all square once more . St Brigids scored three points in as many minutes to edge them in front again but as the game entered the final minutes of the first half two superb scores , Shane Morgan and Oisín Doyle left just the bare minimum between the sides at the break .
The second half was only minutes old when an Oisín Doyle point levelled the game .
St Brigids scored a point in the fourth minute to put them in front once more but we upped our game , points from James Teelan and Dara O’Callaghan (f) put us in the lead for the first time , a lead we never relinquished . A high ball from the boot of Liam Óg Finnegan landed in the back of the St Brigids net to strengthen our lead . A fantastic display from our defence and in particular the Duffy brothers kept St Brigids scoreless in the closing stages of the game . Points from Patsy Finnegan , James Teelan (score of the match ) and Liam Finnegan in injury time sealed the victory and booked a semi final place for us against Derrygonnelly from Fermanagh which will be played Saturday 18th November @2pm in Dromore GFC.
Cross 1-13 St Brigids , Belfast 1-06 .
Well done Ryan Duffy who was named man of the match .

Festive Christmas Party Night

As the festive season fasts approaches , preparations are in full swing for our festive Christmas Night which takes place on Saturday 16th December in the Rangers Hall. It has just been confirmed , Paul Cullen will play live in the Rangers Hall during our Christmas party night . Paul who is on tour for a month is a highly renowned singer / guitarist based in Spain .
A mulled wine reception , a scrumptious four course meal , dancing into the wee hours and a great nights craic is guaranteed .
So wether it is a work function , a family get together or friend’s uniting to kick off the festive season , you are all very welcome . No group to big or to small . Transport available if requested .

Crossmaglen Annual Christmas Fayre took place on Sunday 12th November in the Rangers Hall. There was over forty stalls on the day with something for everyone , young and old . Well done to everyone involved .
