Cross played host to both the Junior and Senior league fixtures on Sunday.

JFL.

On Sunday , our Junior team played St Michaels .
Cross : 4-19 St Michaels 1-11.

SFL.

The second game on Sunday afternoon saw our seniors play Granemore in the senior football league .
Prior to the start of the game a minutes silence was held for the late Gene Luckie R.I.P.
A great first half team performance saw two goals from Johnny Hanratty , points from Rían O’Neill , Alan Farrell , Tony kernan in the first ten minutes .
Granemore got their first score of the match in the 13th minute .
We pushed on and at half time we had built up a significant lead .
It was Granemore who started off the brightest with two quick points at the start of the second half but we settled quickly , a superb goal from Martin Aherne in the fourth minute extended our lead followed by points from Aaron and Tony Kernan . Granemore scored three points in the last ten points of the game but scores from Shane McConville, Rico Kelly and Rían O’Neill all helped to seal the victory.

Due to the large numbers at Under 6 training , training will now commence on Friday evenings @6pm .
We will register all the kids in their respective age groups , 4/5/6 to benefit both boys and girls .

Our U6 & U8 teams were in action last Friday night against Culloville. Well done boys and girls you were all brilliant .

Senior/ Junior Football teams fundraiser .

Golf / Barbecue .
On Saturday 24th June our Senior teams will hold a special event in Ashfield Golf Course, Cullyhanna .
Proceedings start from 3 pm followed by a delicious barbecue .
The cost is £20/€20 per person ( golf and barbecue ) .

Crossmaglen Rangers Summer Camp .

Crossmaglen Rangers Summer Camp in association with Eugene Duffy Construction will take place from Monday 7th to Friday 11th August 2017.
Details of registration times will be published later .
Crossmaglen ladies GFC Duck Race .

On Sunday 25th June , our ladies are holding a fundraiser at Creggan river .
The ducks will be released at 10.45am . They will be caught in a net at the wooden bridge beside Poets Glen .
The cost of a duck is £2 or 3 for £5 .( €3 or 3 for €7 ).
Prizes include £100 , £50 , €50 , pen set , chocolate hamper and many more .

The entire Crossmaglen Rangers Club are both saddened and shocked to learn of the sudden passing of Mr Gene Luckie R.I.P.
Gene , lifelong member and loyal supporter , Father of our Senior Ladies Football/Camogie Player Marie .
