Senior training & information: Training continues Monday, Wednesday & Friday this week 7.15pm to 9pm, with additional training session on Sunday morning at 9am.
U14/16 training- Our U14.5s played Killeavy on Thursday and won comfortably with a score line of 5-10 to 1-02.   Well done girls, they meet Middletown on 8th June.
Exam season is in full swing, and we want to wish all our players the very best in their preparations. We know that parents will be supporting them to use their time wisely, and encourage them to have a healthy balance at this time.  Attending to football training is a great way to maintain contact with friends, let off some steam and look after your health. So don’t forgot to add this weeks training sessions to you plan. See you all Monday and Thursday at 6.30pm.
U12.5 training– We travelled to Lurgan to play Clann Eireann in our latest fixture. It was always going to be a tough game but we were immensely proud of the strength and determination of our girls. Going in at 1/2 time down 9 points, they returned to the field and dug deep. The managed to close that gap to just 4 points.
There will be no training on
Wednesday evening, due to our next league match. We will play Mullaghbawn at 6.45pm on Wednesday evening.
U10/ U8 training– A massive thank you to players and parents for making the hub on Saturday. The players had a great time and they certainly gave it their all, some superb performances. As usual all done with grit and determination. The next U10.5 hub will take place on 17th June in Silverbridge.
We would like to remind all members that it is essential to be registered with the LGFA through Foireann. For more information contact Shannon Clarke.

Clann Eireann V Cross

Fourth round of Division 1 league against Clann Eireann in Lurgan.

An epic battle commenced. Clann Eireann expecting to dominate from the start but our girls showed tremendous heart and definitely rattled their cage. Unfortunately the final score did not reflect the massive effort or the style in which the girls played the game. We learned a lot from this match. But the biggest take away was the girls’ determination and unwavering fighting spirit, right up to the final whistle. We have two busy training weeks ahead to get ready for the fifth round against Shane O’Neills on the 3rd June, 7.30 pm in Shane O’Neills. Our Sponsor A Ball for this match has been kindly sponsored by Benny and Eleanor Cassidy (Cassidy’s Garage). Thank you for your ongoing supportIt would be lovely to see as many supporters there as possible to fill the stands with the Black and Amber.
