Armagh SFC QF
Cross V Silverbridge
All roads on Sunday led to Cullyhanna for our SFC QF clash against neighbours, Silverbridge.
Torrential rain in the  morning left conditions extremely slippy
We settled quickly scoring 1-2 in the opening ten minutes to a point for the Bridge, Colin O’Connor the goal scorer.
We were unfortunate not to have added two more goals to the scoreboard in the following minutes. As the first quarter ended Silverbridge added a point.
Points from Rian (F), Stephen and Mel extended our lead. As the half drew to a close the Bridge slotted over two points to leave the score at the break;
Cross 1-05 Silverbridge 0-04
The scoring of the second half commenced with a Stephen Morris point. We pushed on scoring a further eight points without reply, Oisin (3,2F),Aaron (2,F), Stephen(2) and Rian before the Bridge registered their opening scores of the half, two points. With minutes left, two points from Rían(1,F) and a point from Silverbridge brought the scoring of the afternoon to a close.
Cross 1-15 Silverbridge 0-07
Well done lads and management.
The draw for the semi finals of the Armagh SFC will take place on Monday night.

Armagh IFC QF

Cross V Clan na Gael
Monday night our seconds contested the quarter final of the Armagh Intermediate Championship. The game was played in Ballymacnab, Clan na Gael from Lurgan were the opposition and Raymond Watters was the referee.
The opening minutes were an even enough affair, each team matching score for score, Clans just edging it with ten gone on the clock, they led by a point. Each side traded points before the opposition added another point to the scoreboard to stretch their lead as the game entered the second quarter. Points from Ryan Conlon and John Murtagh levelled matters.
A Patsy Finnegan point in the twentieth minute give us the lead by the narrowest of margins but three points in as many minutes from Clans give them the advantage once more. A Ryan Conlon point in the thirtieth minute narrowed the gap to one but it was the Lurgan boys who finished the half strong, three points again without response to give them a comfortable lead at the break;
Cross 0-08 Clan na Gael 0-11
We opened the scoring of the half when Callum Kieran slotted over a point from a free converted. A great shot at goal for us was saved by Clans goalie, Ryan Conway. Two points in quick succession for Clans  and they remained firmly in control. Some super goal keeping from Stephen Ogle prevented the opposition from stretching their lead. Points from Shane McConville, Callum Kieran and two from Odhran Kieran(2) reduced the deficit with fifteen to go.
A clans point was followed by a John Murtagh point and with ten remaining Clans led by one.
Three points for Clans in the space of five minutes reinforced their lead with the final whistle minutes away. Callum Kieran scored a point before Clans scored two points one after another to seal the victory. A Patsy Finnegan point was to be the last score of the game.
Hard luck to the entire squad and management on a gallant effort.
Cross 0-16 Clan na Gael 0-20
