Cross V Killeavy 

Saturday evening, we welcomed killeavy to St Oliver Plunkett Park. The first quarter, Ronan Fitzpatrick  and Callum Cumiskey registered two points a piece to two points from killeavy to give us a narrow lead entering the second quarter. Killeavy converted a free to bring it down to a one point game before Aaron Kernan brought it back to two when he slotted over a point from a free. With minutes remaining until the break, two goals in a minute from the opposition put them in front by four. Ronan Fitzpatrick scored his third point of the contest to bring the scoring of the first half to a close;

Cross 0-6 Killeavy 2-3

Killeavy edged further in front scoring two points at the start of the second half. Points from Callum Cumiskey and Dara O’Callaghan reduced the deficit. Killeavy added another point to their tally before we had our best spell of the match, three points without reply, Ronan, Paul & Callum to leave just the bare minimum separating the sides once again. A spell of missed opportunities followed for us including a missed penalty but Killeavy remained steady, scoring a further two points to leave them in a strong position with full time approaching. Two frees converted from the boot of Callum were to be the final scores of the night and it was killeavy who secured the points;

Armagh IFL

Friday evening, Clonmore travelled to Cross, Intermediate league fixture. We trailed at half time but a strong  all round team performance in the second half turned the game around and we ran out winners on a score line of

Cross 0-13 Clonmore 1-7
