Crossmaglen LGFA Notes

Under 10.5s-
All players are working hard and we are definitely seeing the results. Each game and blitz is bringing them on well. Thank you to Eddie and James for organising.
Under 12.5s-
Division 1 action continued with a trip to Lurgan, against a strong and experienced Clann Eireann. While we didn’t come away with a win, we gained a lot of experience and it definitely will stand by us. We also togged out in our new  jerseys sponsored by Savages Bakery & Martin Aherne. Many thanks to Damian & family and Martin & family.
Also this week, we played Pearse Ogs. Again, it was a tough challenge, and especially in the current heat. After a slow start, we managed to get much needed scores and came away with a hard fought win.
Training continues Wednesday  6pm to 7.15pm for all Players.
Under 14.5 & 16.5-
Monday Night seen this squad take on Silverbridge, in the qualifying round of the championship. Having met them earlier in the season, in our league campaign, it was hard to call.
However, our squad came out strong, and came away with the win. This squad are in full preparation for championship. Training this week is Monday 6pm-7.15pm, on Pairc Na Og and Saturday 4-5.30pm on the Back Field.
Seniors– They are training at Thursday 8pm and Saturday 6pm. For more information contact Maria or Peter.
A reminder that all players must be registered with the LGFA, in order to train or play. If you are unsure how to do this, just contact a coach or committee member.
Gaelic for Mothers & Others!!! Training continues on Thursday at 6.15pm, in Pairc Na Og. Everyone is welcome.
