National Draw
Thanks to everyone who bought National Draw tickets. Few tickets left, PM or contact any committee member. All monies raised from the draw will be retained by the club. The draw will take place on Thursday 6th March 2019. We have also added four bonus prizes, a top of the range tv and three meal vouchers.

Important information for all coaches and mentors: Safeguarding training will take place
on Friday 8th February, with registration
between 7pm and 7.30pm. The course will start promptly
at 7.30pm. All coaches and mentors involved with teams who have not done this training in the last three years are invited to attend. Please comfirm your attendance by contacting Marion or Tony.
Operation Transformation
Week two, Operation Transformation ‘Ireland Lights Up’ on Thursday night saw ninety five walkers/runners particiapting. Another great turn out. Well done to all those who took part. Remember everyone welcome, from the community and beyond, all ages and all abilities. We look forward to welcoming you all next Thursday for week three, 7pm-9pm, top field. Please register on arrival.

Fr Cullen will celebrate mass on Tuesday 5th February at 7.30pm in the Rangers Hall. All deceased members and friends will be remembered. Everyone welcome.
Cross Square 100 17th February: Last year the club launched this unique and fun event. We are inviting all our members and supporters to come along
on Sunday 17th February, and help us complete 100 laps of “the square”. For those who count the kilometres 14 laps is approximately 5km, but remember this is a family event, where everyone can get involved, by walking, jogging or running a lap or two to get us to 100.
Crossmaglen LGFA AGM & Pre-season meeting: The Ladies football committee would like to invite all players and parents to attend a pre-season meeting and AGM
on Friday 1st February. Everyone interested in supporting the development of ladies football in our club is asked to attend. The meeting will take place
at 8pm, in the backroom of the hall.
U10 & U12 Girls football training: Indoor training will resume
on Monday 28th January, in St. Joseph’s Sports Hall,
from 6pm to 7pm. This year the U12 competition as be changed to U12 and a half, so all first year girls will be eligible to play in the U12 squad. Marion will send out the support rota in the next few days, and if any date doesn’t suit parents should make arrangements to swap with another parents. Everyone is welcome to attend this training.
Crossmaglen Ladies 10th annual Pre-season 7s: We are delighted to announce that our annual pre-season 7s will take place
on Saturday 9th March 2019. This event has grown in popularity and prestige over the last number of years, with teams travelling from far and wide to attend, so we are anticipating another fantastic event this year. We will have more information on this in the coming weeks.
Well Done
Congratulations to Lucy Duffy and the Our Ladies, Newry U16 team who beat St Clare’s, Ballyjamesduff from County Cavan. The game was played in a bitterly cold Clones and it took a free kick in injury time to separate the teams after an outstanding game of football.
