Crossmaglen Rangers Ladies Football

2018 teams & training:

Managers will be in touch with regards training and information in the coming weeks. Currently, we are looking for a parent or ex-player to get involved and coach our U12 girls team. If you are interested, please contact Frank on 07735537529.

Also, as all our teams start to get back our to a bit of pre-season training, we would like to encourage  previous players, current players and anyone who would like to give football a go to get involved. Football is a great way to keep fit and also make friends. Why not get 2018 off to a good start by signing up to play or get involved with your local ladies club.

Cross Square 100 in Association with Cross Square Hotel and Superbites:

On Sunday 18th of February, the ladies football club are launching this unique fund-raising idea, which involves completing 100 consecutive laps of the Square in Crossmaglen. Each lap of the Square is 0.25 miles, so by completing four laps of the square, you will have covered one mile. The 100 laps will be completed by a relay team of lead runners from our community, and we are looking all our members and supporters to get involved and support them. You can support this event in two main ways. Firstly, individuals and businesses can sponsor a lap for £20. Secondly, on the day, you can come along a complete a lap or a specific distance with your family and friends. The cost of entry on the day is £5 per person. This is a family fun event, so laps of the Square can be walked, jogged or even run, you decide what you would prefer. For more information, check out our facebook page.

Crossmaglen Ladies 9th Annual Pre-Season 7s: It’s hard to believe that this tournament is in its 9th year. Over those nine years, we have welcomed teams from all over Ireland to compete in this prestigious event which is growing in reputation and stature every year. We are delighted that our tournament received support from Stalwarts of Ulster Ladies football such as Clann Eireann, St. McCartans and of course Donamoyne. However our tournament is also very popular with the Dublin and Leinster sides and we have welcomed Foxrock Cabinteely and St. Maur’s to our town to compete. Our tournament will take place on Saturday 10th March, and we are looking for help on the day to run the tournament. Parents and players will be need to volunteer to help with pitches, in the kitchen and also the tuck shop. If you would like to help out, please contact Marion on 07730578786
