Mini Tractor Run

On Sunday, we hosted our first mini tractor run. Fun was the order of the day. It was fantastic to see such a turnout, over two hundred vehicles and drivers looking amazing,
Many thanks to or Cultural Officer, Mrs Johanne Donnelly and Mrs Fiona McCabe (our main organisers) . Thanks to our sponsors, MMS Workwear (Cathal & Sean Duncan) Banbridge, ValuLand, North Street and Egg Coffee & Ice Cream, The Square who had a packed house after the run. Thank you very much Patrick for the tasty ice cream which all the children loved.
Thanks to all stewards to kept all our little people safe. Many thanks to Mr Madine, St Patrick’s Primary school for sponsoring medals for the children.
Finally huge thanks to all our families who participated and assisted in any way in the event and a special big mention of thanks to all our wee drivers.
All monies raised will go towards the promotion of the Irish language locally.
We will have more medals later in the week which Mrs Donnelly will distribute in St Patrick’s School. Anyone  who didn’t leave their name on the list on Sunday morning for a medal, please PM Cross Rangers FB page or Fiona at the Event Page.

500,000 Steps Challenge

 

Next Sunday sees a very important event in our our club. A day which will be marked in our Club history for many years to come.
Uachtarán Cumann Lúthchleas Gael John Horan will pay a very special visit to the club. President Horan will plant an apple blossom tree. This tree symbolises youth and will acknowledge the young of our club. Immediately afterwards the President will cut the tape to officially launch our 500,000 Steps Challenge.
There will be games and stalls , BBQ , face-painting , fun for all the family to celebrate Lá Raonaithe Óga who are at the heart of our club.
This is the perfect opportunity for us all to celebrate the achievements of all our young Rangers, their mentors and coaches.
Sponsorship cards have been distributed, please give generously to this underage fundraiser.
Coaches and teams, let’s see who can raise the most money.
Following the Steps Challenge, both our Senior and Intermediate teams will be in action;
Seniors V Ballymacnab and Intermediates V Tullysaran.
It promises to be a memorable day in St Oliver Plunkett Park, a day not too be missed.

Rangers Tapas Party Night

The Rangers Tapas party which takes place on Saturday 16th June promises to be a sociable, casual dining experience and the perfect way to have a relaxed, fun foodie night with friends.
Doors will open at 8pm with food being served at 8.30pm sharp.
Guests will be greeted with a champagne drinks reception on arrival.
Once seated, our in house chef will share an array of delicious Spanish dishes in batches to each table.
To round off the evening, music will be provided by one of the Provinces top Dj’s – Paul McArdle
Tickets sales are limited to 200 and can be bought from any member of our senior and intermediate men’s teams at a cost of £20 or €25.
Get your ticket now to avoid disappointment for what promises to be a fantastic night.

 

 

Crossmaglen Rangers Annual Golf Classic

Crossmaglen Rangers LGFA Notes & Info:

Duck Race 2018:

The Ladies will be running there annual fund-raiser on Sunday 23rd June. This has been a great event, which has been well supported by our community. The ducks will be on sale from all members of the club. For more information, keep an eye in facebook.

 

Gaelic 4 Girls:

The G4G programme is in its last few weeks but training will continue on Monday at 6pm. We have a couple of blitzes coming up and we’ll have more information on that at training next week.

Senior & Minor Girls:

The senior girls have a match Monday night at home at 7pm. Training times will be agreed after the match. Keep an eye on the facebook group for more information.

U14 & U16 girls training:

Training continues on Wednesday at 6.30pm, please make sure you attend.

Slieve Gullion Runners

Slieve Gullion Runner are hosting ‘G8’.
‘G8’ is an eight mile walk/run through the beautiful scenic Slieve Gullion forest park which will take place on Sunday 1st July.
Walkers will start at 9.00am with runners starting at 10.00am.
All proceeds from the event will go to the Samaritans, Newry & Dundalk.
