Congratulations to our Under 16 Ulster Club Champions who overcame a fancied Glen side in the final of the Paul McGirr Memorial Tournament in Dromore on Sunday. Having beaten Newry Shamrocks and St Enda’s Glengormley on the way to the final the boys produced a magnificent display of fast flowing creative football to become the first Armagh to claim the Ulster Under 16 title. Congratulations to our Under 14 team who defeated Dromintee in the final of the Armagh Shield Competition recently.  This was a keenly contested game producing high quality football and our boys deserve great credit coming back from a seven point deficit to win the game. Well done to all involved. Our good run of form continued with an even more comprehensive victory over Dromintee in the Charlie Grant Cup. This victory leaves us in the final of the competition which will probably be played on Saturday 13 October. Please check local press for details and come along and support the boys.

Underage Registration Evening for all boys and girls football teams will be held on Tuesday 21^st February in the Rangers Hall.  Registration for Under 6, 8 10, and 12 teams will be held from 7.00 – 8.00pm.  Registration for Under 14, 16 and Minor teams will be held 8.00 – 9.00pm.

Membership to be paid on the night as follows; £5 per child, £15 for 3 or more children, Family Membership (parents and children) £30.

Parents and children are required to attend.  New members welcome.

The 2011 Summer Camp finished on Saturday and was a great success.  Over 220 children aged from 4 to 15 took part, and were expertly tutored by over 30 young coaches from the club.  These young coaches are a tremendous asset to the club and to the GAA, and Crossmaglen Rangers is proud and honoured to have such terrific role models for the children.  Thanks to Marion McNamee and Miceal Moley who were the Summer Camp Leaders, and to Peter and Fergal McMahon and Dora McConville who helped organise the event.
