The Players of the Year Awards for 2009 were presented at an Entertainment Night in the Rangers Hall on Friday last.

The presentations were made by County Chairman Paul Duggan:

Minor Player of the Year – Paul Hughes

Under 21 Player of the Year – Aaron Cunningham

B Player of the Year – Padraig Daly

Division 4 Player of the Year – James Hughes

Senior Player of the Year – Francis Hanratty

A special presentation was made to John and Tony McEntee by Paul Hearty and Joe Fitzpatrick to honour the extraordinary contribution the twins have made to the club over their playing careers. John and Tony retired from playing in 2009.
