Crossmaglen Rangers LGFA Notes

U16.5’s are Championship Finalist!

This group of players are no strangers to a final, and have had their fair share of wins but also the odd disappointment, but in true Rangers style they are back and they have learned.
The road to the final has been full of challenge, meeting Ballyhegan in the Quarter Final. It was a fiercely competitive game, with skilful goals from both teams. Cross managed to pip them at the post with a final score of 4-08 to 3-07.
Onto the semifinal we met Carrickcruppen. Both teams are familiar with each others style of play, and Cross had something to prove on this one. They dug deep, and secured their place in the final.
Storm Agnes didn’t stop the Championship final preparation with our U16.5 Squad.  We want to wish them every success next weekend.  This game will take place at 5pm, on Saturday evening in Dromintee.
Please come along and show your support for the U16.5s.
