Armagh SFL Div 1 Rd 3
Ballymacnab V Cross
Our Seniors travelled  to a bitterly cold Ballymacnab on Friday night for our Armagh Senior football league clash.
The home side got the scoring underway, a point not long after Kevin Faloon had thrown in the ball to get the game underway.
With the game only minutes old, high drama ensued, Kevin Faloon awarded us a penalty after observing an off the ball incident. Mel Boyce struck the ball superbly to give us our first goal of the match. Ballymacnab responded with a point to reduce it to a one point game but we went on a scoring spree, eight points without reply, Aaron Kernan (4,2F) Kyle Carragher (3) and Miceal McCabe. Ballymacnab got their third point as the minutes ticked down until the break. We finished the half strong, Aaron scored his fifth point and a goal and just before the whistle went to signal half time, a super pass from Mel to Kyle who fisted the fall into the home side net left the score at half time;
Ballymacnab 0-3 Cross 3-09
The second half Ballymacnab got off to a super start, four points in quick succession before we registered our opening score of the half, a point from the boot of Mel who had converted a free. Both sides scored two points a piece and with ten to go until the final whistle we were firmly in control. Those final minutes saw the home side score three points and Paul Hughes score our fourth goal. It was a great all round team performance with Captain, Aaron Kernan excelling. Well done to the entire squad and management.
Ballymacnab 0-12  Cross 4-12

Katie Rose’s Journey
Many thanks to everyone who helped in any way on Saturday morning at the coffee morning. It was a tremendous success and it was fantastic to see first hand the community spirit in our area. The total money raised was £825 & €435.
Thanks to Naoise and Mary Short who sponsored a jersey for Katie Rose and to all the boys who signed it. We continue to keep Katie Rose in our thoughts and prayers and we wish her and her family well for the future.
