Comhghairdeas

Comhghairdeas to our Irish Cultural Officer, Mrs Johanne Donnelly whose hard work, dedication and passion in promoting the Irish language / culture within the club and beyond resulted in the club receiving the Joe McDonagh medal during a reception in Croke Park on Saturday night .
Comhghairdeas Agus a dhéanamh go Maith Johanne.

 

 

 

5K Fun Run/walk

Well done to our camogs who organised the 5k fun run/walk on Sunday morning and to all who participated. You can view or add snaps from the run on the event page.

 

 

 

Kickhams Creggan GAC

The BOI Ulster U21 Club football tournament launch night is on Wednesday 27th December @7pm in Kickhams Creegan club pavilion. It is envisaged that the matches will take place between Saturday 13th January and Sunday 18th February.

 

 

 

Championship 2018

Following a motion passed on Thursday night at the Armagh County Convention, the ‘back door ” will no longer exist and will be replaced with a league format that will see four groups of four teams. Everyone are guaranteed three games before getting down to the Quarter final stage . The groups will be seeded depending on what position you finished in the league. The same format will be used in the Intermediate and junior championships. This new structure is a one year experiment.

 

Christmas Movie Night

Who doesn’t LOVE a festive family film on the BIG screen?
This year we will be bringing you a classic at our ‘Christmas Movie Night’ on FRIDAY 22nd DECEMBER from 7-9pm.

 

 

Texas Holdem 

On Thursday 29th December our any annual poker classic takes place , shuffle & deal @6pm.
Tickets cost £30 and would be an ideal Christmas present .

James Hughes International 7’s Competition

Our annual James Hughes 7’s competition will take place on Saturday 10th March 2018.

 

GAA National Club Draw

Representatives from the Club will soon commence selling tickets for the GAA National Draw .
Tickets are £10 , excellent prizes to be won and all funds raised are retained by the club.
The Draw will take place on Thursday 8th March 2018.

 

 

Irish Classes

Well done to all who attended the Irish Classes and Comhghairdeas to Claire Keenan , Brenda Murphy and Johanne Donnelly who received their silver fainnes. A bhuíochas sin do mhúinteoirí Niamh Agus Aoife.

 

 

 

 

Well Done

Well done to Faye Fitzpatrick(1-0) and Aislinn McMahon who were part of the St Catherine’s camogie squad who beat St Killian’s, Garron Tower to win the Fr Davies’ Cup Final , Ulster Colleges camogie on Thursday. Good luck girls as you now proceed to the All Ireland championship.

 

Welcome

On Wednesday we welcomed Robin Dussene and Aureau Abdelbost to the club. Robin and Aureau are studying journalism at the University of Strasbourg and they were visiting Ireland to meet groups and sporting organisations from the border area.

 

 

Christmas Festive Party Night 

A great night was had by all who attended our festive Christmas party night on Saturday. Thanks to Paul Cullen who played live in the hall , Tracey McKeown (disco), Mona and staff for the delicious food and to our bar and floor staff.
