Armagh U21 SFC Division 1
Killeavy V Cross
On Sunday our U21s travelled to killeavy for their opening  match in the Armagh U21 Championship.
We were quick off the blocks, five points registered without reply and early on in the game we had a strong lead.
Killeavy got their opening  score in the twelfth minute which was quickly followed by their first goal of the contest to leave it a one point game at the midway point of the first half. Killeavy scored three points one after the other to put them in front for the first time with ten to go until the break.
We finished the half strong, five points scored in the final minutes to leave the score at the break;
Killeavy 1-04 Cross 0-10.
Seconds after Ollie Hearty had  thrown the ball in to get the second half underway, killeavy had scored their second goal to leave it evens stevens once again.
This was to be short lived, killeavy were very much in control and this was to be the pattern of the second half, scoring a further a 3- 5  to 0-7 to run out winners on a score line of;
Killeavy 5-09 Cross 0-17
Hard luck lads and management.
Next up is Mullaghabwn at home next Sunday.

Shine A Light Night Crossmaglen
Good luck to all volunteers who are a part of this year’s ‘Shine A Light’ charity event, and will camp overnight outside Egg Coffee Shop on the 1st November.
The event is run by Focus Ireland, in aid of the homeless all around Ireland.
I believe an added bonus of camping outside Egg is all those having a sleepover will have a few treats from Egg on the house!
If you would like to volunteer please contact, Patrick @Egg.
Patrick would welcome all donations, even if you can’t do the overnight camp itself anything you can contribute is hugely appreciated.

I will collect shoe boxes on Saturday 9th November @11am (same day as the spinathon).
For a full list of what to include in the boxes, please see the link on our Facebook page. Please remember not to seal the boxes and to include €4 for post and packaging.
