Cross V Pearse Ogs
Sunday afternoon we welcomed Pearse Ogs to Cross. We got to off to a flying start, a goal within a few minutes of play, Ciaran Mooney the scorer. Points from Rhys Kirk and James Sheppard extended our early lead. Rhys Kirk scored our second goal, set up by Shea Savage, quickly followed by a point scored by Rhys and with fifteen gone, it was all one way traffic. Ogs got off the mark with two points in quick succession, one from a free and one from play. As the minutes ticked down to half time, points from Daire McEntee, Rhys Kirk, James Sheppard (2, 1F) left the score at the midway point;
Cross 2-7 Pearse Ogs 0-2
The second half we were firmly in the driving seat, points from Rhys Kirke, Odhran Lenaghan (0-2), Ciaran Mooney and Finn Caherty and a goal from Jack Daly reinforced our strong lead. Ogs s ores 1-3, the goal coming in injury time. Well done lads on a great performance. Next up is Clan na Gael in the SF, date, time and venue tbc.
Cross 3-12 Pearse Ogs 1-5
