Ladies Gaelic Football Notes:

Important Announcement! Get Friday 17th May into your diary now! We have something exciting being announced and we know you all will love it! Details will be released in the coming week.
This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Lauren McConville and Megan O’Callaghan to our club, with the Division 1 league trophy.
Lauren and Megan began with a visit to the U13s team Pizza Party. The team management had arranged this after a busy couple of weeks of training, and league fixtures. Lauren and Megan spoke to the girls about friendship and using football as a way to escape the pressures of everyday life.
Next they made their way up to the training pitches, visiting the U9 and U11 squad. Most of the players had been at the match and were delighted to meet Lauren and Megan in person.
Thank you to Megan and Lauren for their time and wise words to our teams.
Training for the week ahead:
Our Senior Squad are out training in their joint sessions this week, which take place on Monday (7.30pm- 9pm). Wednesday (7.30-9pm) and Saturday (9.00-10.30am), on the School Field. Everyone is welcome, old faces and new.
U17 & 15 Squad

Cross V Shane ONeill’s

On Saturday night our senior team took on Shane O’Neill’s at home in the 3rd round of the league. It was a hard fought game, with our girls fighting back from a six point difference at half time, but unfortunately the result did not go our way.

Cross 2-6  Shane O’Neill’s 2-8

We meet Grange on the 4th May at home. It would be great to see as many supporters as possible there to cheer on our girls.
