Malachy Murdoch Tournament Final

On Wednesday Night our Seniors had a narrow victory against Dromintee in the semi final of the Malachy Murdoch Tournament. Sunday evening saw us up against hosts Burren in the final. A highly entertaining encounter which saw some fine scores from both sides. At the half way point, both sides were level, Cross 1-11 Burren 2-12. Burren started off the second half the brightest, they were awarded a penalty which they converted in the opening minutes followed by a point which give them a strong lead. We responded with a Colin O’Connor goal but Burren pushed on and they never relinquished their lead and ran our winners on a scoreline of;

Burren 2-12 Cross 3-13.

Well done Burren on your victory and on hosting a fantastic tournament once again.
