Good luck to our U19 team and management who play Clann Eireann on Friday night. The game will be played in the Athletic Grounds with a throw in time of 8.30pm.

Our semi final opponents were confirmed at the weekend when Silverbridge beat Keady. The game will be played in Cross on the 21st August, time tbc.

 

Crossmaglen LGFA Notes

Under 10.5s-
Unfortunately this weeks hub was cancelled this week, due to the weather. Mullaghbawn hope to reschedule this fixture in the coming weeks.
Under 12.5s- 
This crew are in a winning streak, coming up against Kileavy and Derrynoose over the last week, and coming away with two comprehensive wins. We are immensely proud of the progress for this team. Keep up the hard work.
Also we can confirm that Championship will take place on the 5th, 12th and 19th September. Draws and information to be confirmed.  Training continues Wednesday  6pm to 7.15pmfor all Players.
Under 14.5 & 16.5-  
The U14.5 squad are in full preparation for championship. Training this week is Monday 6pm-7.15pm, on Pairc Na Og and Saturday 4-5.30pm on the Back Field.
Seniors
They are training at Thursday 8pm and Saturday 6pm. For more information contact Maria or Peter.
A reminder that all players must be registered with the LGFA, in order to train or play. If you are unsure how to do this, just contact a coach or committee member.
Gaelic for Mothers & Others!!! Training continues on Monday at 6.15pm, in Pairc Na Og. Everyone is welcome.

Cross Rangers Summer Camp sponsored by Eugene Duffy Construction 

There is still availability for our summer camp which takes place from Monday 16th – Friday 20th August. All children who have registered and who attend will be eligible to receive the summer camp pack.  Older children should bring a packed lunch. The camp is open to club members and non club members, everyone welcome.

The Big Bus 

The Action Cancer Big Bus will visit Cross Rangers on Tuesday 7th & Wednesday 8th September. The Big Bus appointments will be running between 9.15am & 3.30pm.
Appointments are for CLUB MEMBERS ONLY on a first come first served basis.
(18 x breast screenings (ladies aged 40-49 & 70+) and 11 x MOT health checks (men & women aged 16+) each day)

Condolences

Kathleen Eardley, Lismore

We were all deeply saddened when we learnt of the passing of Kathleen. Kathleen, Uachtertain of Crossmaglen Camogie was an excellent camogie player, lining out for Armagh in 1954 for the Tour Of Munster. She was a dedicated, loyal and  passionate Ranger who adored the black and amber. We extend our sympathies to Sisters’, Margaret, Jeanette, Annie, Brother, John  and the extended Eardley, McConville, Morgan and Watters families. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.
