In advance of our club and town hosting Armagh v Cork in the National League on Sunday 24th of March 2019, we aim to carry out a community clean up on Saturday 23rd of March. It will be all hands on deck as we give our grounds and surrounding areas a good spring-clean. This is a very important event where we highlight the importance of looking after and taking pride in our area.
Our U10, 12 & 14 squads along with their mentors will clean up inside the club grounds. U16 upwards will carry out a clean up of all the parks on the town as well as roads in and out of the town.
Bags and jackets will be provided, please bring gloves if possible.
All help greatly appreciated.
Registration is now open, please see the link on the DIL event page or Cross Rangers FB page. There is an early bird rate for those who register early. We ask our club members and friends to support this amazing global event. All monies raised from ‘Crossmaglen Darkness Into Light’ will be shared between Pieta House and P.I.P.S Hope and Support.
Alan O’Mara is the founder of Real Talks and a renowned speaker for his mixture of honesty, insight, humour and passion on the topic of health and wellbeing. The former Cavan goalkeeper and an Ulster U21 Championship winner will be in St Patrick’s, Cullyhanna on Monday, 4th March. Alan was the first active senior inter county player to go public about suffering from depression in 2013. One in four of us will be affected by a mental health issue at some point in our lives. Aged from U16 are welcome and we thank St Patrick’s for inviting us to this important event.
